Base preparing and gluing are the main factors on which the superficial movements of natural stone flooring depend. Sky Stones pays a lot of attention to the kinds of products employed, dimensions and gluing materials and additives. Base preparing and gluing are important being the starting point of flooring. With this products line Sky Stones pays a lot of attention to the enviromental impact , to the importance of obtaining a waterproof and draining area, to the resistance and the easiness of using them, and to their elasticity.
They will have to be used, of course, according to the kinds of different flooring (some products are suitable for tiles, others for little cubes, etc...).
Thanks to these products flooring problems such as hollows, cracks, detachment, … are reduced.
premflex: ready to use rocky dust
Range of use
Premflex is a pre-mixed dust. When water is added it creates a specific mixture for quickly drying bases, suitable both for natural stone tiles and resins. Premflex can be used for different kinds of thickness bases, although the ideal thickness is 5-6 cm. We also offer the plain version of the product which requires the additon of clean sand and water.

Application
The usage depends on the way you prepare it.
When you prepare it in the concrete mixer use 8 sacks a time adding water (2.1-2.4 lt per 30kg sack). Then proceed with the laying.
If you use a continuous pug mill pour Premflex in the machine and start it. Add water until you get the right humid texture. Then proceed with the laying.
When you use the pressure pump pour in the product you need for one load. Add water and let it mix for no longer than 2 mins.
Where to use it
Excellent for yards, garden paths, pavements and ligh to medium trafficked squares
Amount required
To obtain a 1cm base you need 15-17kg of product every sq mt. As for the plain version you need 220-250 kg to obtain 1 m3.
